A Year in Review; Looking To the Future

A Year in Review; Looking To the Future

As 2012 comes to a close I cannot help but get excited about the future. Why? Because so much has happened this past year and yet I know the journey is just beginning. I want to share with you what the Lord is doing and what I believe the next steps are for this ministry.

As I sat down to write 2012’s vision last December, the Lord gave me Deuteronomy 31:6 to help me focus on the year at hand. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you”. I didn’t know what that meant at the time, all I knew was that my job was to be strong and courageous and to trust that God was with me and working through me. It’s been a crazy year, however these are the things that have come from it.

1. Finish writing & posting through the book of Hebrews! (YAY!)
2. Started a vlog (video blog)
3. Started posting email conversation from readers with questions
4. Started supporting a new missionary family whose work is Bible Translation
5. Changed jobs to be in a role to learn leadership and further develop as a writer and teacher
6. Asked to be a guest speaker at local churches
7. Launched a new, faster and mobile responsive website
8. Subscriptions to blog have doubled
9. Web traffic has tripled
10. Mobile traffic has increased 1700% (from this time last year)

It’s been a great year! The Lord has been faithful to His promises!

This is what I believe the Lord is showing me for 2013!

1. Write on Kingdom Principles (Starting in January, truly a growing experience for me both personally and as a writer & teacher)
2. Publish the Hebrews Blog in book form (& ebook form)
3. Publish the Romans Blog in book form (& ebook form)
4. Setup Non-Profit status for partnerships & donations so JCBlog can continue to be an avenue to finance Kingdom work in these areas:
   a. Partner with Andrew Wommack Ministries
   b. Partner with Greg Fritz Ministries
   c. Partner with Ambassadors to the Nations
   d. Partner with Voice of the Martyrs (specifically Bibles Unbound)
   e. Partner with Wycliffe Bible Translator Missionaries (Added in 2012)
   f. Fund Camp Scholarships at Hidden Acres Christian Center (The camp where I worked growing up, which impacted my life unmistakably and eternally!) (Partnership to be added in 2013)
5. Write chapter summaries for ALL New Testament books as a FREE study tool for site visitors
6. Write some Bible Studies (ebooks) to sell and give away on site to partners

I believe this is just the beginning of what the Lord has planned for this blog and this ministry in 2013. I am excited to see Him at work in my heart and through this community of supporters who both encourage by emails, comments and correspondence and those who offer financial support or one-time gifts.

Thank you so very much for your support and readership!
In Christ,
Juli Camarin
