I’m passionate about Jesus, His Word, living in His grace, using technology and creating beautiful things. But mostly my passion is about spreading the gospel of Jesus to a world that needs Him.

I live with my husband in Iowa, working as graphic & web designer. My specialties are content creation, internet marketing, search optimization & social media. I basically play all day long! In my free time I enjoy creating art & beautiful things. I like to think so I run; because it’s the physical process of clearing my head in order to process what I’ve read, heard or had conversations about during the day. I enjoy capturing memories with my camera. I love to learn, study and share what I am learning. I'm addicted to coffee and I enjoy people. Writing and explaining scripture on this blog is my passion and this is what wakes me up before dawn every day.

I have always had a heart for writing, I remember writing stories and plays as a young child and then performing them for friends and family. Although I never took formal writing classes in college while I was pursuing my graphic arts degree, I always wrote for myself.

After serving in a church on their teaching team for over five years, I felt a calling to start writing, using the internet as the platform to do this. The truth of the scriptures started burning on the inside and I had a desire to share it with others. A teacher at heart, my passion is to teach the word of God as it comes alive in my own heart trusting that it will also come alive to my readers.

When I started this blog I was working my way through the book of Romans, so it was natural that this was what I wrote about. Romans kept changing me the deeper I understood it and now several years later it continues to bless and encourage the people who come to this site looking for answers.

When I finished writing through Romans, I took some time off until my faithful readers started asking me to start writing again. This time I choose the book of Hebrews and spent the next two year studying, writing and working my way through this wonderful letter. I recently finished writing through the book of Colossians in the summer of 2014.Now writing on scripture is a part of my life. I know this is my calling and what I will continue to do as long as I am able. Join me as I write through the book of Ephesians.

I will continue to work knowing that the job & industry I am in is a training ground for future of this blog. I do enjoy financial support from blessed readers and encourage it, because I know that the future of this blog will be financing Kingdom work throughout the world.
